Am new to BeOS but have learned enough not to expect everything to work.

Is anyone using CD RWs with BeOS 5? If so what hardware, software are you using? Thanks

About every CD-R(W) that comes out in the market works in BeOS. I have one from late 2000 early 2001 and it works fine.

Apps: for audio i strongly recommend CD Manager. It also erases CD-RWs and burns ISO files.

Data: Helios CD Recorder is good.

For all of them check BeBits. For a list of compatible (or not) burners, go to http://www.frizbe.net

Take care,
DaaT
