hi there, i am a newbie (on forums AND on beos). a few years ago, i tried to buy beos (i think the time betweeen r3 to r4) but they didn´t get it. so i let it down. for the outcoming of r5 pe i tried beos the first time (problem: only 500 megs partition size [i know, some people say "no problem", but i want to have a os; i don´t want to make one on my own]). AMAZING. now for the outcoming of r5 max v2x i tried beos again, everything is fine, but tdsl. i can make a connect to german telekom but the time i start the browser (netpositive or mozilla 1.1) the connection brake down. WHY??? i have tried so many tips but nothing worked. so what can i do with a os on my own?
the best firewall you say? kidding. WHERE´S THE WORLD AROUND ME? please help a learning one.
thanx

Can you use IP numbers to go to sites?
It may be that the DNS is not working.

It might also be that your IP address keeps changing. Can you see if your IP is the same when you login as it is when it has problems?
