Not to forget that MSN Mess'em'up is just as much used here [Netherlands] as AIM is used in the USA.

I use trillian on my windows comp and its fantastic, that would be good if we somehow got it ported

I use Jabber for BeOS and besides from a few issues it's the best Jabber client for any platform I have ever used. It's very unfortunate that it is no longer being developed.
That's just my personal interest though. I like Jabber and hope to see it succeed.
