Hi everyone,

I'am planning to buy a new PC, witch Athlon motherboard do you advice with BeOS ?
I thought about the Asus A7V8X,it use the Via KT400.
Also, i'am hesistate between a GF4 or a Radeon.. who are suppose to have 3D support on Zeta.. icon_rolleyes.gif
What's your experience/advice ?

SMP!
BeOS is SMP.
Linux is finally beginning to get SMP apps and drivers but not fully multithreaded like BeOS.
If you can get even a P3 dual machine I think you would be better off. I feel that a dual 1g is more than equal to a single 2g processor. You will see the difference.
There are sites that show how to get non-smp processors like duron's and athlonXP's to work. (it may not work with some applications like photoshop6 and some drivers).
