I have a bunch of crappy 486 and worse comptuters sitting around. well only 3. Is BeOS the operating system for them? Like will I be able to make them seti boxes with beos?

BeOS only works on Pentium (MMX ?) and above processors.

Try installing Slackware (older version) i know it is not BeOS but hey you could turn those computer into Mail and Print servers.

That is exactly what I am planning on doing. I am going to set up a mail/print server. A seti box. and then somehtng else.. not sure yet..
