I installed BeOS max yesterday and the window movement is choppy.

I have a GF4 Ti4200
AMD Athlon 1800+

how can I fix this?

everything in beos is slow...everything, It takes forever to do anything, maybe it's my hardware? I have a hybrid AMD761/KT266A chipset.

Did you install the nvidia driver?

There is no formal support for Geforce 4s in Beos. The graphics capability you have now is coming from VESA. Find a different, supported video card and try that.

Use vesa 3 and use a higher screen resolution.
