A couple of months ago, my Mitsumi CD writer refused to write any more CDs in BeOS r5.0.3. It still reads, but when I use CDBurner it complains "The CDR driver cannot start the burn. Error: cannot modify write params page (05:26:00)". Helios and BurnITNow don't work either.
I reinstalled BeOS from clean and it did the same. I then installed Windows on the same PC and CDs wrote fine.
I've tried adding CDRTools and CDRecord, with the same result.
Why has my CD writer refused to play with BeOS? TIA if you can help.
