What would you pay for a full-featured Semi-/Professional Video Editing/Manipulation Suite?

Well, since Adamation left the Be boat due to investor focus, there is a big huge whole in that what is one of the disciplines, BeOS was truly intended for - Linear/Non-Linear Videoediting.
There are some projects in this software branch.
However, these kinds of software projects are really big.
So dividing it to step-like pieces is a good idea.
However, I'm a bit sceptic about the 'big team' of postmagic icon_wink.gif.
There are so massive additive work to do (beside the app in itself), to make it a competitive solution. How will 2 guys alone realize that?
Don't undestand me wrong - I deeply need an updated professional video capturing/editing/mastering solution...
