More good news from the OBOS front.
Just one day after assuming the lead of the Translation Kit Team, Michael Wilber has informed that his team has reached Alpha stage, thus being the third team to do so after the OBFS and Storage.
He has even compiled the translation kit into a library and replaced Be's original with it, reporting no problems so far.
Here are a few words by Michael:

What we have now is definitely in the early alpha stage, but you could replace Be's libtranslation.so with ours, and you probably wouldn't notice the difference. But, we'd like to do a lot more testing before we would have anyone outside of the team try it.
We think there might be some memory leaks or synchronization issues, so we're going to look for those specifically. Also, it would be good to do some performance testing to be sure that our libtranslation.so performs just as well or better than Be's libtranslation.so.

Well guys, another team has reached alpha, and i'm pretty sure others will soon follow. Great work everyone, keep it up.
