I just bought one of those. Damn! Now I have BeOS in black-and-white. I guess it's back to the old VESA Accected patch. These cards are popular and have been out quite a while...

Yes they've been out for a while, but there's no Be, Inc to write the drivers. Heck, even when Be, Inc was around, Nvidia never released the specs for the GeForce family, the Unified Driver was built with the help "of a little bird", as his own words.
Anyway... Zeta will support GeForce 4, according to what they say.

I think lots of people who are potentially BeOS users would seriously wanna see a GF4 driver. I hope that it will exist in Zeta as rumours say...
I mean GF4 is one of the most sold cards today and no support for it would mean a disaster really..

I'd be really surprised to see a GeForce4 driver in Zeta. As far as I know there's no one (at least not publicly) working on one at the moment. This is the number one driver people ask for that is so far not seeing any progress. Trouble devs run into is getting info to work from. nVidia are not willing to give out info. I say, get an ATI card and hit them in the wallet!

I think I just managed to get the sourcecode for the NVididia GF 4 Linux driver. That will obviously show how it works, so if someone can please write a GF 4 driver so I can sturt using BeOS again I'd be very happy...
