We're asking the BeOS Community if they have any questions for Skycycle, the official band of Zeta.
The interview is not a sure-thing at this point in time, due to Real Life issues, but we're confident things will work out.
Before you post the really obvious questions, please take a look at their official homepage, run by Eddy Groen:
http://www.skycycleonline.com
You can even download a lot of their music too, for free!
I personally have acquired a taste for their great style and rythym, with "Ramona the Palm Reader" being one of my favorite tracks.
Good luck!

What is your favourite chord to write your music in ( C-majeur, A minor like that)?
If you don't write music of your own, what's the kind of music you'd like to hear?
Which music relaxes you?
Which music inspires you.
Sorry, my english isn't that well, but thanks for your reply,
Sincerely,
Marianne.

- What bring you to be BeOS world ?
- What is your "computing history" ?
- Do you plan to make a BeOS/Zeta hymn ? like the famous 5038 song
- Which music software do you use ?
Thanks and have fun

A great song I recommend listening to by Skycycle is "(She Can Be) Anything"...
I think this song, if attached to a wicked demo showing off the BeOS could do wonders for our marketability. It's a fantastic song, it starts out mellow, but really drives it up a notch near the end, and then lets you down nice and gentle like.
Also, it mentions the word "Zeta" nicely, but you'll have to listen to it to know what I mean.
Take care.

Here are a few questions from a big Skycycle fanatic. A lot of them are pretty good I think. I would post his questions for him, so here goes:
1) Will Skycycle help Herr Bernd Korz and Yellowtab promote the imminent release of Zeta by playing shows in Europe, North America and perhaps Japan? Hopefully, the beta testing phase of Zeta 1.0 is just about over.
2) Is the band currently writing songs and rehearsing or are they taking a break? Can we expect to hear new material in the near future?
3) Is Steve Isaacs getting married in 2003? How about Kelly Castro?
4) Any reaction to Jay Boberg's being fired from President of MCA Records last week? Rumours are rampant that the label will undergo further changes in the near future.
5) Is Cano playing drums for any other band at the moment or just giving lessons?
6) Of the many Flash web sites and superstitials Steve Isaacs has helped design over the years, what is his favorite: Hannibal (Lecter) the movie, Sugar Ray the rock band, Alyssa Milano the Hollywood actress or some other site like Levelsaudio?
7) What feedback have they gotten from covering the Beach Boys classic "God Only Knows" and are they thinking of doing any other covers? The beautiful harmonies by Steve and Sven are awesome especially during the last minute of the song. Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson could not have done it better.
8) Was Steve Isaacs more nervous singing live in front of President Bill Clinton in Washington DC or auditioning in front of Pete Townshend for Tommy in New York City?
9) Can any business model save the record industry? Also, do the Foo Fighters sound like Skycycle on their latest album especially the songs All My Life and Times Like These?
10) What is your favorite British band? Radiohead, Coldplay, Supergrass, the Beatles, XTC, the Who or some other band?

On the old Skycycle Online website (around 1998), Steve Isaacs wrote: |
A part of "Ones and Zeros" was transferred to "Breathing Water" to pay off Ken Andrews." ** |
1 - How much did the budget transfer affect [the quality of] "Ones and Zeros"?
2 - Why was the "Breathing Water" EP so important? Back then you assumed not too many people would hear it anyway, leaving "Ones and Zeros" as the big project.
** - (Ken Andrews did the production, recording and mixing for "Breathing Water". He has amongst others worked with Tool, and is quite a big name in the music business. Ken initally didn't ask an awful lot of money, but his manager demanded more)
