You all know who he is, but for those that don't, think... openBeOS Networking.
We will be collecting questions from you until June 20th, at which time we'll compile the five most ineteresting ones, mix in a few of our own and post the interview shortly thereafter.
Good luck, and good hunting!

Simply put: by R1, what will the OBOS networking stack have that net_server and BONE don't? (we already know "stability")
Oh, and are you really Brit?

David, as a keen porter, will the OBOS net stack allow apps like Postgresql, Apache and PHP to be ported direct from the source? (as far as networking goes!)
I remember a post from someone on the network team that this would be the case, is this still the plan?

Will there be NAT over PPP (i.e software NAT for 56k modem ) that is easily configurable by the user. Like ipalias for BONE. Also wondering when we'll be able to use it to replace net_server in R5

David,
What is the biggest weakness, in BONE (i'm talking about BONE since it's the last thing Be, Inc developed so it should be more advanced), that you want to see "taken care of" in obos' net stack? Weakness and/or lack of feature.

HI!
Will it be easy to port Mozilla, and other big (complexed) Net_working apps?
And will they be faster?

I thought Mozilla already was ported, in the form of BeZilla....
Do you mean, "make it easier"... perhaps?

When do you expect Multi-User to be completed in all instances, such as FTP server, Telnet Server, and /boot/home/user etc.

Do you thinking the porting PThreads will be possible? This would allow many *nix apps to be more easily ported.
I just had to include this graphic, as this is my first post in these forums
